Inland Terminal Meerhout
In 1996, BCTN Meerhout was the first Belgian inland terminal. Since then, it has grown to become the largest container terminal in the Benelux. The terminal, which is operational 24/7, is located along the Albert Canal and supplies dozens of companies with full and empty containers on a daily basis. The terminal is strategically located alongside the Albert Canal between Antwerp and Liege at a short distance from junction 25 of the E313 motorway. Permanent connections to the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam and a stock/depot for almost every shipping company make BCTN Meerhout a perfect alternative to the busy road network to the hinterland.
